Hey Tipico what up! nice job getting this back on track and you got me rolling with Tan tan Chuleria, haven't heard this in a long time, by the way I have a setof those 7patas like new, not bent or nothin wit all the copas and shiz.. brought them doen with me from NC and got some steeles stock with copas and anillas with white walls from 79 corolla... just to cahnge my 84 one in a while, I'm hoping to get it painted some time, hopefully I'll have plate on it mid july so that I can use it...

Haha I use to hear it back in puerto rico when I was younger, and your a lucky guy for being able to have those wheels. Wish I could get me a few sets, sooner or later I will for sure. Post some pics of the wheels. I've been thinkin of some factory corollas con las tapas anillas y banda blanca hay mama. Wooooo

I didn't take a pic of the motor, but when he opened the hood where the intake or carb went it, had some aluminum piece that says VVT or something. No...you probably saw the "TVIS" Placard! This is/was the "Toyota Variable Intake System"...aka "Turbo Velocity In Second" LOL! There's some flapers covering 4 of the 8 runners from the intake plenum that remain close at idle and low RPM. It is actuated by vacum lines. When you accelerate, the flapers will open at about 1800-2k RPM allowing twice as much air to enter into the head; RPM's (ignition signal) and AFM readings are sent to the ECU which controls fuel delivery and injectors.

Post pictures here of any old school corolla that you think deserve to be in the spot light . It doesn't have to be your ride it can be any ride . This way it can expand corolla owners minds on how to MOD their corolla . Nice ride @ Naguabo P.R.
