I honestly love it with the tint! I don't know, whenever I see a car with yellow fogs I automatically think, "JDM" even if the car is completely stock.
I'm not sure how I feel about it with the amber turn signals though. I wonder how it'd look with the signals smoked.. ever consider it?

It's really coming together! Slowly but surely.
But why do you have two shifters sir?

It's really coming together! Slowly but surely. But why do you have two shifters sir? dual shifting acton man! its the new craze bro!. that way i can get more pull lol na the second one is a shorter shifter. so im just keeping it for extra. Furthermore, picked up my rotors from the post office this morning. Must say i was petty excited. The box had taken a tiny bit of abuse(came allllllll the way from the UK..) Also, there is some brown residue on these brakes which can mostly be one of two things A. Some sort of rust preventative..or B. there was some water pr moisture that made ocntact(highly likely due to the long shipping process.) took nearly a month..if i knew it would take this long I woulda just ordered some regular ones from scott haha I plan to put these on sometime soon because my rear drums are pretty much down to the metal. You can hear it when i brake. Even though it would be easier to paint them off, due to time and urgency...i may have to just paint them later(gold and black)

ALLL RIGHT!!!! SO my rear disc conversion is complete but id like to give a rundown on the chain of events prior. My rear drum brakes were worn out!...i mean..metal to metal worn out. I planned on doing the conversion a week from yesterday since i was gonna only be using the car for work to home commuting. However, Thursday night after gym, my brakes decided to give out(the rears). The brake cylinders inside the drums have busted and shattered which lead to the depletion of ALL brake fluid. I slightly avoided an 18 wheeler and for the next 5 mins was the scariest ride of my life. honking horns and dodging cars DOWN HILL. luckily i found a lot and coasted till it was slow enough to put in park. This lead to the early project of rear disc! Moving on ill now talk about the brakes themselves. Luckily for us United States guys.....while we cant get the rotors here....the calipers are the same as a 1992 corolla gts so brake pads and such are fairly easy to obtain. Even so....i ran into an issue of the brake bleeding screw breaking off into the caliper AT THE END...so that was more money and time wasted riding around town finding one that fit(which is when i found out that the calipers are EXACTLY the same and the bleed screw could be salvaged) but the hard part was getting the old one out. Luckily my dad had a tap kit under his seat(After about 2 hours of manual labor) lol.....Furthermore I THEN figured out the screw from the drums could be used....so we went through ALLLL that time and effort of finding one and then buying two from autozone for nothing. was a LOONG day and i would highly advise anyone to be prepared for a couple of issues.....no with the parts themselves but if not careful(i'm a car noob at some respects) so many things can go wrong. Anyways..thanks if you read up on this small story. i think it should give some people a little insight on what they may be looking forward to. PICS! Here is my car getting towed to my house(80 bucks i didn't want to spend) When removing the drums i found this method easiest. put two screws in the holes and whamp!!! came right off(little bit of nudging and tug involved) but alot easier than what i went through a year ago lol..just use a socket wrench to have it push up Fucking shitty ass drums! soo glad to see this busted piece of shit go...pardon my french .... bu you can also see how bad the wear is..so i guess its partly my fault as well This is why i hate drums...too much small complex shit..a primitive design in my opinion..and it looks like shit Figured it be a good chance to stock up these rear coils a bit..they were dirtyyyyy....used brake stocker(a lot shinier than in the pic) Now i meant to take pics but sort of forgot....removing that long screw that connects to the knuckle is a pain in the ass! soak it real good in some liquid wrench or something that helps break down rust and tough dirt. made the other side super easy to remove..anyways...bye shitty drum brakes! don't let the door hit ya! doin work! My bro helping out with running the e-brake cables! BTW running the e-brake cables isn't sooooo bad..but you have to remove the shields under the car. WEAR GOGGLES..that dirt is unforgiving! Furthermore...keep up with your bolts..a lot of small ones... mhmmm sex!! Reinstalling is fairly easy..simply just rebolt everything back up. finished! Ill post some clearer pics of the car with rear disc later once i get shit together for today lol thats y short DIY!! Alo here is a link that was useful the night before! i studied it lol helped ( web.archive.org/web/20071009182211/vamp.darkravers.net/cpg/thumbnails.php?album=11 )

Dang, I'm officially inspired.
And thanks for that link too! Did you ever end up doing the optional and got the Celica proportioning valve?

thanks everyone! and Kenny, na...never did the proportioning valve thing. im not sure if i should feel the difference in the brake reaction but for some reason it doesnt feel like it effects my brae timing. still stops at front first. not sure why lol. but ill prob sap it in the future
