Rookie question I was wondering if the 2zz head could be fit the 1zz bottom end (bore out the 1zz bottom or just throw it on) something like a 7age? Thanks ahead of time

it doesnt fit but if your looking for more power just do a 2zzge swap or if on a tight budget get the plastic im from a 9th gen corolla or matrix or celica since it has bigger runners

nope 2 completely different motors u can do what he said and get the 9thgen intake manifold since i has better airflow or u can swap in the 2ZZ intake manifold u just have to fab up a gasket for it gets improved mid range from it

I would just need the intake manifold? Or do I need the throttle body and sensors for the 2zz aswell?

He's over pricing for that Mani ... 130!!! But he wants to give it to me with throttle body and sensors -_- told him I don't need them but he said he won't part it out ... Either way I still think he's over pricing

Use a 03-04 corolla Mani since they where designed for the throttle cable style tb not electronic

Use a 03-04 corolla Mani since they where designed for the throttle cable style tb not electronic ur mistaken the throttle bodies are different for the 03-04 to 05-08 but the manifold is the same u should be able to use ur old throttle body since mounts rite up (speaking about the 8thgen)
