Shit goes right in too all you need is to change one motor mount if your manual and two if your auto cuz you need a corrolla manual tranny mount ... You'll figure it out when your dropping her in which mount won't fit

Yea its the one on top of the transmission if ur auto then you need the manual one. There's someone on the forum with a 7th gen with a 3sgte just search the forums and YouTube you will find vids of it

dang, sux to hear bro, jus think about what you want to do first. If it's a loud knock, I'm certain it's a rod bearing. You can probably get a crank kit for about $350. But to do it you would have to tear the motor almost completely apart to do the job, I would much rather install a crank kit with the motor out, jus cus it would be a PITA to do it in the vehicle...In fact don't know if it's even possible to do it with it in the car still. So in a sense, it's almost easier just to do the swap at this point

You can do it with the motor in the car but if he wants to swap it then the best swap would be the 3s
