Beast of a car! That first pic looks agro!! Never realized how essential headlight designs are in adding to the overall cosmetic appeal. Crazyyyy

^^^ thanks, I'm so happy I am finally able to make my pictures look good Beast of a car! That first pic looks agro!! Never realized how essential headlight designs are in adding to the overall cosmetic appeal. Crazyyyy Yeah that first pic came out really amazing... since the garage door is open, it makes the car look like one of those new Lexus "spindle" grilles. And you're right, I am still shocked at how much these head lights change the whole front end, I really didn't see that coming. I love em!!

First update after SR8 I changed the exhaust from the HKS to a Greddy catback... something that has more growl to it and doesn't sound so smooth and wimpy lol. Just a few pics from today's install Out with the old, in with the new. I also I raised the car 3/8" and put the front wheel spacers back on. (I raised the car as much as the coilovers will safely allow lol). No more rubbing, bottoming out, scraping. I also set the front dampening from full stiff to half way soft. Should be much smoother now. I actually like how it looks a lot more than I thought, I should have done this a long time ago. Here are two videos I made of the exhaust, the first is the one I just took off and the second is the new one. Be sure to watch in HD ;D IS300 HKS Dragger II exhaust and SRT intake soundIS300 Greddy Evo II exhaust and SRT intake sound - YouTube

Finally posting some pics from my road trip (Baltimore to Jacksonville). Pictures are a much higher resolution this time (1200p wasn't big enough lol). Click for full size. At the North Carolina welcome center: ERMAHGERD KERNGEROO GERS STERTERN (I love kangaroos lol ): Clubbin' (though no one was home): South of the Border: Picking up dinner from the drivethrough: Checking into mah hotel: Hey, it was the cheapest place I could find: A bit drafty, though I got lucky because it didn't rain: I had the whole place to myself!!: Filling up gas with The Offical Fuel of Nascar!: Time to hit the road!: More eventually.

Your car sounds a lot better with the greddy although the hks didn't sound bad at all. Really nice pics man

Thanks bro. The difference is the resonator being different on the Greddy... if I eliminated or changed the resonator, I'd probably go back to the HKS.

Here are the rest of the pics. I spent several hours just driving old country roads in South Carolina, gosh I love SC. Had to pull over because the light didn't come through the tape very well lol. That's better, now I can see lol. Ready to go again. Stopped in quickly at the old church where my grandmother was buried last year, and also chatted with the neighbor next door where I used to visit growing up. It was so weird being here on my own, after waking up in my bed at home that morning lol. Once it got dark, I stopped for some pics of the new retrofitted head lights. Low beams only (no fog lights): With the high beams (HIR + bixenon): You can assume I drove with the high beams most of the time lol. On my way back up from Florida, I stopped in Atlanta to visit Matt, owner of TheRetrofitSource and HIDplanet.com. What a great time! And no, that's not him taking pics of my car.... he came from next door and took 100 pics. And some other person came from another store.... all interested in the blue door lights lol. Next to Matt's Porsche! (my lights are better LOL) The next day, I drove up through the Appellation mountains on the way home through Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina .... through some seriously awesome roads, with great turns and great views! Including the infamous "Tail of the Dragon" road! I had the roads alllllllll to myself And that's it... I think I've finally caught up on all my car pics lol.
