Hey guys thought i'd share a mod i did a while back.
The 7th gen only has 2 forward facing lights... the headlights... So seeing it in the rear view at night just looks like a regular boring car.
Okay so all i did was replace the 1156 Sockets with 1157 sockets. Yes the same your brake lights use. I got mine from camry tail lights. Shave the tabs untill it fits your turn signal hole. Cut off your old 1156 sockets and wire the 1157 in using the Brighter filiment (brake light) for the turn signal and the ground to ground. Make sure your turn signals work and are bright. Now you have 1 wire left coming off the socket your low filiment (running light) i wired this to a fog light switch which is powered from the battery. You can also wire it to the parking lights. Anyways its simple i can draw a wiring diagram is anyone is confused.
