if plugs are the same on a ST as the BT which I think they are...The part # for plugs is NGK #BKR6EP11. Not sure on the belt. I think the timing belt is different on the ST. Just check the links I gave for cross-referencing the part # for the belt. Hope that helps

yea bro, dont worry about spark plugs, even the 4af/7af are the same.bro good thread man, i even drewled when i saw that resurfaced flywheel.how much did they charge you 50? p.s~>can you be more specific on the timing part step by step, i hate fucking with timing big time. also what were your torque specs on the flywheel bolts, as well as the clutch bolts.if you need any parts let me know, i got really good connections down south, as well as oem parts that are located in a toyota dealership in texas that has stock jdm stuff in stock

your gonna love the blacktop by the way bro, amazing after you tune it up, by the way, if you want to do headers cheaper and easier than finding stock downpipe and the flex pipes, by the ae92 gts 4age 16v headers on ebay, and just cut the earlobes so you can use your stock bolts with washers

cool...so far my connections thru my job is pretty good as far as general maintenance on ANY car. I have dealer discounts and all that good stuff. The flywheel resurface cost me $30. Timing is simple really...Bottom crank timing pulley has a timing mark. Make sure cylinder #1 is TDC by lining up the notch with the little dimple on the block. The marks on the cam pulleys are also lined up. I have pictures of the marks in the pics. If you notice, both cam pulleys have 2 marks on each pulley. The 2 dots must be upright, with the other 2 marks across from eachother. At this point, remove the tensioner and you can replace the belt. Compress the tensioner with a vise and use a small alan wrench to secure the pushrod in place to reinstall the tensioner. Make sure you stick the wrench in from the right side or you can't pull it out after it's mounted....lol. To check timing, remove the #1 cylinder spark plug. Get a couple long extensions and put them together. Stick it down in the spark plug hole and rest it on top of the piston. Now with the belt, idler, and tensioner installed...turn the crankshaft CLOCKWISE only! Watch #1 piston go up and down. Also watch the timing marks and if they continue to line up correctly after every other turn. I did this a few times to make sure the marks were lining up every time. The flywheel bolt specs according to the manual is 54 ft lb. Online Manual BT20V www.locost7.info/mirror/4age_blacktop.php

Congrats on the new motor. I'm not sure about the distributor....I only purchased the rotor and the cap which I think come from an older Camry. And yes, I need to get the harness modified for mine...even tho no wires have been chopped or screwed. The engine came out of a Levin so the part of the harness that connects to the Corolla body harness is not the same.

Doug is awesome, he did my ST harness and it looks factory, it took him about 3 weeks since I was in no hurry and he had alot of harnesses to do, but I told him to take his time.
He has called me a few times to check up and see if I used it yet so that he knows if there were any issues. But since I wrecked my car in april and have not gotten another rolla since then, I just have a ST and harness sitting in the storage unit.
But I definitly reccomend Doug

Oh yea Marlon...u know we gonna line em up Anyway, workin on my tranny this weekend. stocked it up. Went to install the new throw out bearing. Turns out the kit I bought from egay has the wrong throw out bearing! ......figures But again thanks to toyodiy.com I was able to locate my part number and it looks like you can pretty much source all the clutch parts from the US market...which is good news. Anyway, heres a pic of the tranny freshened up Also notice the wear on the clutch relaease fork. Also see the difference in the throw out bearings. Here are the parts numbers I found and hopefully they are correct. I will order them Monday to find out Fork #31204-17010 Release Bearing #31230-12170 And if anyone is interested in knowing .... Clutch Disc #31250-12360 Clutch Cover #31210-12152

A few things left for the engine. Also still need to reconnect the tranny to the engine and the harness will be sent off soon to be modified. Removed both the 20V harness and the 7AFE harness from my old motor. Installed the new throw out bearing and clutch fork Timing belt installed, timing covers back on, all new belts...only a few things left...trumpets, spark plug wires, and harness Resurfaced flywheel installed.... Not much longer and I will finally get this thing in the car!!!! I'm gonna wait till I get the harness back first since it will be easier to put the harness on with the motor out the car.
