Hey all, I got a1995 Toyota Camry 2.2L 5 speed. I got the disc/drum split. I want to swap to the all disc brakes.
What all would I have to do to swap to it? If I follow thru on this I will post a DIY on it.

To get discs in the rear you need to get the setup of the camry wagon. It had disc brakes in the rear. Also the ES300 had the same disc rear brakes. You could either find some parts at a junkyard (Believe me, camry wagons at a junkyard are more than rare...) or buy some parts on toyotanation.com or maybe solaraguy These guys sell big brake kits for the front but also sell the camry wagon rear rotors and calipers and brackets as a kit to replace the camry drums with discs. I know a guy named SlammedSix sells the rotors and brackets but by asking around you could get details for the calipers, etc.

contact ASG14 and he will give you all the options.......
you have: small front rotors and drums
stage 0 upgrade: 4dr rear disc brakes (ebrake cable, rotors, backing plate, calipers w/bracket, parking brake assembly) stage 1 upgrade: v6 front rotors and calipers and stage 0 stage 1.5 upgrade: using front dual piston calipers from es300 or avalon stage 2 upgrade: same as stage 1 but with es300/camry wagon rear brake setup stage 2.5 upgrade: dual piston calipers from es300/avalon w/rotors and rear brake assembly stage 3 upgrade: supra big brake kit w/es300/camry wagon rear brake setup stage 3.5 upgrade: using dual piston calipers from an es300/avalon stage 4 upgrade: (a bit more difficult getting right but works great when adjusted correctly) stage 3.5 upgrade plus rear VLSPV (variable load sensing proportioning valve) this can be found on v6 wagons and adjust the brakes according to weight transfer to help stabilize the car.

Hey. I have an ES300 rear disc setup F/S. But for the ES300 you'd have to do the V6 front brakes as well, which will require 15" wheels. So if you have 14" wheels, stick to the Camry rear disc.

Yeah, you would get hella flamed for messing with that on TN. I'm open to new ideas though... as long as you don't mind sharing the info.
