if you think about it, the celicas came with the 4afe and 7afe and the 3sgte goes into them.....also, there was a special edition 7th gen in japan that came with the 3sge
if i had everything to do over again, i would have a 3sgte instead of a twincharge setup

this is amazing and it is something i would love to do/see in person the swaps can be done!...it goes like this: corolla -------------->4afe(1.6) 7afe(1.8) celica--------------->7afe(1.8) 3sfe(2.0) 5sfe(2.2) 3sge(2.o 45deg valves) camry--------------> 3sfe(2.0) 5sfe(2.2) 3vzfe(3.0 /2959cc) 1mzfe(3.0 /2995cc) 3mzfe(3.3) ^all those engines can fit into all those cars

hey guys glad you like my corolla. The mounts are accutally the same in most parts. I modified only one mount (engine mount on the frame) but that was one that i got for free from the junk. now it needs to be replaced. lol. If your able to get mounts from a 6g celica it would almost a direct fit. But sorry the pics are from two years ago and i haven't taken any new ones since. and now she is sitting in storage as the motor gets rebuilt.

Was there any firewall issues? I was actually looking into swapping a 1MZ into mine, but ditched the idea as I don;t want to touch the firewall. It;s nice to see the 3SGTE fit in so well!

I had no fire wall problems with the car except for when the front mount broke all the rubber off. Too much rocking on the dyno and on the strip. lol. but with everything in the car right, I had about an inch and a half before the firewall but even under heavy throttling it did not hit. I also considered the 1mz as well. lol But i might be throwing in a 2zz motor in my other 7th gen corolla for fun. lol

I'm using a 5sfe tranny that my uncle fab'd a phantom grip lsd for and i'm using the 5sfe axles. As for shift cables I'm using the ones from the celica. same length as the corolla.
