Ive had a intercool and piping and range 7 heat plug from my last set up. I had a remote trunk turbo setup but recentlly found and bought manifold. but I figured id make this new thread to get any ideas or concrens and keep you updated till its done then ill stock it up and show you guys the finished product on the car pictures thread

are u on stock internals? If u are i wouldnt get passed 550cc because the stock internals will last up to 250hp before needing to upgrade internals. seen a 9thgen 12-15PSI running close around 240ish on 550's and AEM FIC depending on ur tune

Yea stock bottom end but I intend on upgrading it before tuning. Curious tho wont the 1:1 boost sensitive fuel regulator control the pressure to the injectors? If not then you suggest to down grade to 550 for the time being?

So you can keep ur stock fuel regulator for the time being before u upgrade. With 850cc's then ur gonna have to get a 255lph fuel pump along with that . what are u gonna use to tune it?

Stock regulator wont work because I have to make a return fuel line 1zz uses a returnless fuel system so im building a custom fuel rail with a 1:1 regulator. I already have a mwr 255 pump.

Well decided to hold on to the 850 injectors for the forged rods and pistons. And ordered 525cc injectors. Going to my brothers shop tonight to drill and tap the new fuel rail I got fron kinsler.com

So it only took 2 or 3 hours to take the headers off lol damn car is hard to work on when you got big hands but ran into a problem. The manifold I have is not a top mount like I had hoped so hopefully I have enought space to clear the Cv axle. I also made intercooler supports. I havent finished the fuel rail yet I ordered a special drill bit to seat the injector correctly. Once I finish mounting the pressure regulator and rail ill have pics.

No not too high its right inline with the openings in the front bumper... today I had to relocate the break lines to avoid hitting them on the Turbo during motor torque and to be able to make room for the down pipe. moved the firewall back 4 inches to have room for the compressor housing. And relocated power. steering hoses to avoid heating.
