Hey guys, its been a while since I been here but I just needed some input on building a 7age. I have just recently spun a bearing in my silvertop and have my old 7a just sitting there. Basically what do i need to get it done? can I just slap the head on the 7a block and get a timing belt to fit? or is there more i need to do. Please let me know guys. If all else fails, I'll just rebuild the 20v.
Thanks in advance
Doau

7a block, oil pan (both parts), crank, rods 4age pistons and corresponding rings 4age head adjustable cam gear 4age lower crank gear porsche 944 timing belt has always been used but chikos knows a guy thats using a 16v 4age timing belt and says it works just fine 7afe or 4afe flywheel (it's a 6 bolt unit) Aftermarket header that is lengthened to clear the taller 7a deck heigh. bigger injectors perferably a aftermarket ecu something to tune it appropriately

so the 7age project came to a huge fail. found out my dad dropped my 7afe off at the junk with my spare 3s block when i was away training for my new job. Now i'm just going to rebuild the 20v. anyone have any idea of where i can get a overhaul kit for the silvertop? seems my toyota reps don't know where i can other than contacting toyota in japan.
