Sup guys, I've been offline for a while taking care of somethings. heres some pics of whats been goin on...
this junkyard 7a block got stocked and bored
Pulled out my old 7afe
installed these arias forged pistons
cometic 0.8 metal headgasket
spec stage II clutch kit
old 7a 5sp next to stocked up 20v 5sp
did some painting
First Startup:

1st dyno visit:
So there you have my last 4-5 months of what i've been up to...
now on to what most want to know...the dyno...at 98 degrees the car made 123 whp (or 'maybe' 145bhp)... ....i know i know something's not right...turns out the afr with the higher cpr is above 18 (so lean that it was off the dyno's on screen scale). Its extremely lean at idle and wot all the way up to something like 6k then it gets really really rich up to the redline which is 78k. dyno guy told i need an adjustable fpr and some software to get the afr where its supposed to be...also if you look closely at the dyno graph at the end of the vid you can see a big power drop. we dont know what is coming from but im guessing the vvt basically isnt getting along with the crappy afr but thats just my guess.
Next on my to-do list is to remove the dual exhaust because they're robbing power(plus its way too loud!) and get an adjustible fpr then dyno again to chk for gains...that software is pricey so it'll have to wait.
And so that's my 7age!...btw even though it needs tuning pretty bad its already owned a v6 firebird, modded acura tl, and bmw z4 roadster. plus im driving with the box still on so no itb's just yet. I cant wait till all the kinks are out...
