Hi Friends,
I just did a head gasket on a 92 corolla. The car has an intermittent starter engagement problem. I turn the key and nothing happens. Is there some wire I may have loosened in the process of doing the head gasket? The battery connections were tight. I did leave a ground connection off of the throttle body.
Any help is welcome.
Don

Go to the Technical Forum to get more answers, did you have the intermittent light before you change the head gasket? It's so could be related to the instrument panel

Thanks for the help guys. It only happened once. I will pass on the info to Ian the owner. I am Don the Toyota mechanic in training. The head gasket repair was tricky but the temp gauge is running just below half way and the fan is coming on as it should. Looks like there are few Kms left in this baby. Can you suggest any mods that will give it a bit more pow..er?
