Sup, my name is Sam. Heard about the site from another member, Jay. I'm currently rocking a 3tc AE86 Sr5 coupe, the only mods so far is full exhaust, twin side draft 45 dcoe webers, trd intake manifold, lowered on cut springs, wheels are 13" baby supra's, and stripped interior for now. I'm located in ft myers/lehigh. Though I'm not exactly excited about other corolla models after the 86, doesnt mean I'm a hater either. I work for toyota currently as well, training under a master tech to become certified. heres some pics.

So far the main goal is to drift her. What mods am I going to need along the way? Idk. That plan will be decided on a as I go and talk to others scale. The short plan as of now is getting her on a more daily status, I have to wire up some gauges and replace the cracked windshield (if anyone has some good indepth info how I can get insurance to pick up the windshield bill even though I only have pipWiim all ears). When I picked up this car she was rough and half assed pretty much the whole way. Engine performance wise I want to get as much throttle response that I can get while gaining some extra ponies. I want to lighten the flywheel and stroke the 3t block with a 2t crank. I'm aware that while drifting at higher revs will cause some cooling issues, so obviously I will be searching for a thicker radiator and brd offers a high flow rate water pump for my engine, so that may be sourced out as well.

When I first picked up the car I was only concentrated on the carbs. I had no clue on the engine, nor did I hear it run. I got it home got it fired up, rebuilt the webers and its been on going since. I'm now using a second 3tc while the orginal is looking at seeing a rebuild+

Nice. you rebuild them yourself? I've had mines parked for a while. I did the paint now I have to redo the gas line hoses. I bought the car with the 3tc swapped in it already, got the mirror almost completely rebuilt. new cam, tuned the webers and got the electric fuel pump moved by the tank. it has been running good so far, it's tuned for 93 octane tho
