Well this week, every time I was backing up, hit a pothole or sometimes when I turn either left or right or hit the brakes a clunky or sometimes metallic sound appears coming from the back the undercarriage.
First I thought may be one of the bars (TRD or the Ultraracing sway bars) were loose, we lift, checked the car with the guy who installed the bars and all of them were tight ,nothing loose, we discovered on the front is time to change the bushings of the front stabilizer bar and also the rods who run parallel to the shocks absorbers but we couldn't mimic the sound the shocks are fine.
Tonight my daughter was driving the vehicle so I have a chance to hear the clunky noise, which I think is coming directly from the inside of the drums the sounds intensified at the time of hitting the brakes but is not all the time you hit the brake when it happened.
Also I can't explained why I heard the sound when I turn left or right and still coming from the back, doesn't make sense I can't find no relation whatsoever
I'm taking the car on wednesday to change the bushings and the rods, any ideas?
Thanks

There are only a few things in the rear to make a noise like that , Your stabilizer links , strut mounts , or a bad bushing in the rear if you have disc brakes it might be your emergency brakes in the rotor , oh and bearing too

Check the bolts on the hub bearing. That sounds like it coming from the area of the brakes what about the sway bar thats inside of the rear axle? It maybe coming from there.

Thanks 7thgen7a I checked all bars including the TRD one everything was tight to begin with and we retight them on Friday, when I checked last night I was also suspicious about the break area inside the drum may be I will check on wednesday as you se the sound is strong and annoying I'm afraid if I continue driving the car something else is going to go really bad, but as you see in the video nothing is loose this kind of problems are difficult and expensive to diagnose I will follow Rincon and your advice the more the merrier as long as I get rid of that sound.

Second look @ the video and definitely the swaybar bro Finally I got my ride today good bye to the clunk noise. The stabilizers were changed, the bushings of the front bar were changed, with all original Toyota parts as they were discovered before, but the winner of the annoying sound goes to.................."the TRD swaybar" 7thgen7a was right on the money, I suggested to the mechanic to take a second look to the bars, because at first when we were checking all of them they were tight, when he double check he placed a bar between the sway bar and got the noise, he dismounted and mounted again, tighten the bar and done, drum brakes were fine but the brake pads on the front need replacement, so I did order the TRD brake pads today and have them install on Saturday. Thank you guys for the input
