I've own a couple of AE92s and was able to pick up an AE86 SR5 shell a few months ago. Finally, I'm able to do some work on her. Here is a quick run down and what it came with: 1985 Corolla SR5 shell Datsun pickup rear-end BC Coilovers Aftermarket fenders Relocated battery tray a bunch of spare parts and wheels The previous owner was planning a SR swap so, a couple things were chopped like in the engine bay and tranny tunnel. No biggie, my main goal is to swap a 4age and get it running. I picked up a 4age and tranny, picked up the dash/engine/underhood harnesses, GTS fuel lines, and tank. Here is how she's sitting right now: Random pics: My bro swaped over a GTS housing to the tranny

Yea, it's the 2003.5 Mazdaspeed Protege, so it comes with the nice front lip and different wing than the 2003 Mazdaspeed. I love driving it, its running stock at 7 lbs of boost.

I was able to install the tranny a few months back but that's about it on this corolla. I've been buying random parts for the GTS swap but its been tough to find time to go work on this project. I really wanted to get it going by the beginning of the year to start autocrossing or at the very least drive it around.
I've been looking around for a running GTS but nothing worth it just yet. I was thinking about keeping the suspension and just selling everything else or just sell it as is and buy something running. Decisions, decisions...

Don't mind my big ol' red ground wire on the tranny. The previous owner cut the tranny tunnel, so I'm missing a few mounting holes for the OEM shifter. And the final picture is a AE86 I found at the Tampa junk yard. Someone came in and raped most of the good stuff so I just grabbed random stuff and a tranny cross member. Here are some pics

So I realize I don't have time to get this car running and ready. I'm in the process of taking off the GTS related stuff and going to end up selling the shell as a SR5. I already sold off the BC coils and put lowering springs on. New AE86 project that is already running coming soon.

I wish I was getting her running but I'm currently selling off this car...
I'm planning on picking up a running GTS so it'll be farther ahead than trying to build this one from scratch.
