Ok, heres my question. I will have 15 k dollars and want to do an engine, tranny swap into my dx corolla. Want awd 3sgte and installed. Cant decide between this or 20 v blacktop and 6 speed. I want roughly a ten second car. Can this be done, including labor? No slouch with tools but i am disabled and dont have a shop. I want donor engine rebuilt to be bullit proof. Can i get some ideas from yall? An awd corolla is awesome but budget constraints may send me to another swap. Also ne one know about a poss 2zzge 6 spd swap? Thanx.

Personally I would prefer the Black Top 20v 6 spd because that build has been perfected with improvements in the make - There was a member here who had a 96 1.8 turbo corolla and he used it as a daily driver and as the miles get put on the car then it becomes to where you have to maintain it daily - I have seen the 3sgte swap but seems if your going for the true JDM look a lot of people regret in the end and wish they had the black top 6spd because when it comes to torq and hp it is a reliable motor and is a awesome daily driver this build has been proven and perfected many times the stock BT 6spd is the way to go in the 7th gens . Yet have I seen not a BT with a turbo been a successful daily driver .
