well, maybe later down the road I will go up to 2.5...but honestly, I notice the motor already doesn't really come alive until after the 5000 RPM mark, so would'n that mean larger piping would make me loose more "bottom end" power?
And yes, as far as the piping, it does follow the heat shields well...I will try to get some more pics of the underside and you will see the guy did a pretty good job.
lol @ 305rolla ok ok bro....I'm workin on it...Car is jaked up again so I can go a lil lower in the back

Some minor updates. First off, seats. some of you may remember when I upgraded my seats to the sprinter style seats, they were blue. Didn't match my interior at all. Well finally found the matching color I've been looking for. These were meant for the dark brown interior. Needless to say, I got two blue seat available if anyone is interested. Also I grabbed the rear sections as well, but, someone already took the rear seat cushion for your bottom. Not sure if this will match ok with the light beige color door panels but we will see. Currently, just getting them stocked and waiting for them to dry before I install them. Also, may be swapping the front seatbelts soon since mine are dirty and worn. The drivers side won't retract anymore. Last, transmission swap still on hold. To swap the bell housing requires disassembly from the tail housing side. Waiting for a little extra money to get bell housing swapped at a shop. I decided it's not worth since I would have to invest in tools anyway but hoping it can be done for a few hundred bucks.

after looking back through your build for some tips, it seems yours was better off lol. Mines was just cut from the previous car. So many lines have to be replaced. You werent lying...This swap has its moments of being a real pain in the ass. Its def not simply drop in and run like others make it out to be

With patience, it will come together better. I could have rushed mine and slapped it together, but I wanted it to be as original looking as possible and wanted it to last so I took my time and did it right which seems to be the way you guys are doing it. It will come out better that way in the end.

So it's been a while, with the C60 installed, wanted to post a short video shifting through all the gears. Also, since the sub-frame was halfway removed, I decided to remove it the rest of the way and stock it. Before I reinstall it, I plan to replace the sway bar and the control arm bushings with some polyurethane bushings. Also I will be putting on the polyurethane motor mounts for the front and rear mounts. Sprayed with degreaser, practically used a half a bottle.... Came out stock, there was a few slight rusty spots but overall in good shape Front sway bar bushings looked a bit old and dry rotted. I'm sure they are original...

You put poly bushings on yours? I was looking at a couple brands like Whiteline and Prothane. Also prolly gonna paint the sub frame black again to give it a fresh coat

Ive never known what its felt like without them..but i would hate to have rocky engine bay from weak mounts haah Plus with it sitting still you would get a little better response i presume

Glad you got the transmission all figured out though. There seem to be more people asking about whether this is possible or not. Usually people with 8th gens and stuff. WHenever we meet again you gotta let me take it for a spin!

Yup, final adjustments have been made. With Christmas around the corner, I will get those poly bushings and the poly motor mounts. Got a few things still to do so I'm looking at summer 2015. Still need to do the following:
Poly Mounts & Bushings $175 Axles $150 A/C Compressor $250 Windshield $150 Tires & Alignment $400 Air stocker $150
It seems like the list can just go on and on...lol

So some recent updates. Not much been happening, mostly since I hate working outside in the cold. But I did order some Prothane polyurethane bushings for the front control arms. Also I took this opportunity to paint the subframe which I'll get more pictures of the final product later. And the front sway bar bushings from Moog Also, I got the CV shaft for the driver side from a 95 MR2 Turbo, but I forgot to get it with ABS. But, this is the first opportunity I've had to compare the Corolla shaft with the MR2 shaft so overall length will be the same. I think it will work just fine. The shaft with the NAPA sticker is the Corolla shaft. I also ordered some Polyurethane motor mounts so those should be here soon. I will get pictures once i get them.

^ Good God I hope so!!! I'm definitely getting more and more anxious. How is your build coming? And why the heck can't I post anything on it. I tried to call you the other day. Apparently the number I had from SR7 was a very old number....
