95 dx w/1.8 If i leave my battery connected something kills the battery, how do you go about finding the source of what is pulling all that power? btw i suspect the alarm, i'll try unplugging it for a day or 2 see what happens.

I would check the alternator, a bad one can kill a battery pretty fast.

Thanks Guys, If i don't crank the car daily or drive it every few days the battery will be dead, i have a portable battery jumper so its no big deal i just want to fix it though, the battery is good it holds a charge, the alternator charges it right up once you start the car & the "charge" light is not lit on the dash, no i don't have a amp just a head unit & if you disconnect a battery terminal it still runs, ok so i have a amp meter how do i test each electrical item like say the radio or horn? oh the car doesn't blow any fuses either.

what brand is the battery? check ur alarm wiring make sure there isnt a short in the relay its a duralast battery, its not the battery i can switch the battery from my camry & it does the same, i think the power source for the alarm is wired wrong & i'll just unplug the alarm (as long as the car will still operate) & see if thats my problem.
