So last night I had this crazy idea about making my 96 corolla into a RWD!! lol I think it would make the car funner to drive and since my car has such low miles instead of doing and engine swap, I could put that money into something creative.. lol I would probably need to buy a new tranny and some sort of diff, then move motor around... What do u guys think? has anyone tried this before

Damn.... You Europeans always get the good stuff lol. but this is some thing 2 think abut . you can buy a rear axel and shaft , you don`t need to re posison your engine , and you can by the gear box you need 4 this swap . in ather word this one is easier then you think . edit : and if you want 2 you can change the engine 2 a 4age if you want to take it fourther

I wouldnt have to reposition the engine? I would need the rear axle and shaft for an AWD European 7th gen.. and what about the tranny? I Obviously have to get a different one right?

I see... I'll do a little more research when I get home tonight, I'm at work right now so I cant slack off too much! lol
this is a crazy idea I had... I might be cheaper to just find a stock ae86 and get my rwd fix that way..
