Hello. Im thinking about buying a 20v Silvertop or maybe a Blacktop not sure yet, but my question is: will I need to modify the motor mounts for a 1996 Corolla and what headers would I need to buy?
Cheers!

Welcome and wish I can help you, but ima take a guess from what I have read. If I remember correctly 3 of the 4 mounts line up, unless that was for a different toyota. It will be answered soon I'm sure.

ok are u auto or 5 speed. if ur auto then yes on the transmission if your going to do a 5 speed swap if im not mistaken the 5 speed for the 7th gen will work. if going auto to auto then no. got to get the wire harness modify to work. mr220v does great work. need a longer throttle cable also. you can get from a celica. the header if ur lucky to find 20v with jasma header then get that one cause i seen them on ebay with them and they are great header for the 20v. or you can just get a 4age 16v header a modify the flange to fit just requires some cutting on the ends. also the axles you can use from 5 speed 7th gen for now until you find the ones for thr 20v.

If a 7th gen CV shafts fit then why spend the money to get a 20v one ??
Plus you say get jasma headers , What year would he be buying for and what type of motor ?

Black top is better all motor and if you have a 5 speed Rolla then all mounts fit the same if you get a 5 speed 20v tranny if you get a 6 speed 20v tranny then you will have to modify mounts ... Either jasma headers or go get custom one made

if your body code is an ae101, then there would be no mounting issues if the engine was an MT...
