Hey fellas, here is what I am currently dealing with. Started her up last week, got the alternator charging again, so I ran it for a few in place, then just to check out the rebuild on the slave cylinder, i cruised around my property in it. When all was said and done, backed her under a shade tree, turned off ignition, she dieseled out and now no start. No Click, No turn over, nothing? I checked my wiring, nohing broken or loose, changed out the starter relay, it clicks, just nothing after that. Anybody have a clue where I should look? The guy I got her from says it was vapor lock, but, if that is the case, shouldn't the starter at leat try to engage?

Ok, Pull started it, got it running, ran a few minutes. ran out of fuel, add fuel, start up, started seceral times no problem, backed it up beside garage, shut it off, no start again!!!!! two times now, only after backing up, any ideas? once i had it running, it would start right up every time, until I backed up.

check your battery terminals, that could be loose
also check to see if your battery has enough cranking amps, your batter could power up lights and a radio etc but not have power to push the starter, a starter requires lots of AMPS to turn over
