im swapping out my silvertop afm to a 3sgte afm as you can see from the pics deff a bigger afm. you gonna also need custom piping and couplings to make it work. The stock intake hose is way to small.

does the AFM 3SGTE have the same pinouts like the ST AFM or will you be using the one from the AFM from the 3SGTE?

does the AFM 3SGTE have the same pinouts like the ST AFM or will you be using the one from the AFM from the 3SGTE? yes on the afm the pinouts are the same, this is deff a simple upgrade plug n play...i just took it out on the road for a test, deff felt throttle response difference the whole intake flows alot better got a little louder and i feel it pulling a little harder throughout the gears

nice upgrade...and almost too easy it seems[/ All I got to say is everyone who has a 20v silvertop needs to do this upgrade, if I get time this week I wanna take my car to the dyno to see the difference cus my car is running beastly..

can you measure the dimensions on those? cause i think the 3vz-fe is the same size and the 7mg(t)e is also the same. also there is a way to tune the afm to lean out the engine to give more power or richen it up for boost

I love Hondas.good stuff clark, seems to be a cheaper way then getting all the blacktop electronics to run itb's

can you measure the dimensions on those? cause i think the 3vz-fe is the same size and the 7mg(t)e is also the same. also there is a way to tune the afm to lean out the engine to give more power or richen it up for boost I'm gonna measure it and let you know the size difference from the stock afm..but as tinkering with the Afm I know it's possible by taking the top off and turning the wheel clockwise to be richer and anti clockwise to lean it out... something like that...but if you mess too much with the afm they are quick to go bad

I love Hondas.good stuff clark, seems to be a cheaper way then getting all the blacktop electronics to run itb's Well I replaced those snail looking stock itbs with some real ITB's and put back on the stock air box... for me as far as intake side of the engine goes I think it's the perfect setup for a silvertop. I'm gonna be working on fuel/tuning next, cus I believ my motor is runing way too rich, burning too much gas for my daily. Oh ans chiko Ive been trying to work on that "top secret build" a little more so Hopefully you will see some updates on here soon
