okay first a little history, i feel its neccesary.......so when toyota signed up with gm in partnership to sell the Geo prizm, toyota was smart, they gave gm a car that toyota was already making overseas, and let gm do a few changes to the headlights, and tails, and slap some geo badging on it. the geo prizm sits in the shadow of pretty much anything in the car world, however, its actually a toyota corolla under its skin, literally. it shares the same chassis as my ae101 time attack sedan. same suspension, same engine oem, same everything. the body is the only thing different. here is where toyota has 2 different models over seas in the ae100 platform, the toyota corolla, and the toyota sprinter. the sprinter had a more round body with big hip body lines and a rounded trunk, the a-pillars were covered by the door, and it had bulging rounded front fenders, with a nice body line through-out the car. the normal corolla had a flatside body line, squared off trunk, and tail lights.
so you take an ae101 corolla jdm front end, and put it on an ee101 prizm, and you get a sprinter. this isnt a normal conversion. alot of stuff had to be made to fit, to pull this off, but i did it.
heres a few examples of usdm corolla vs. jdm corolla, and usdm prizm vs. jdm sprinter......
usdm prizm...
jdm sprinter...
usdm corolla...
jdm corolla...
so i took this.....
and this....
and made this.....
Its a geo prizm 1.8 7afe lsi. Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, ice cold a/c, sunroof, aftermarket head unit and speakers, cruise, tilt wheel, and automatic trans.
Now that the oem equipment is outta the way, it has Jdm ae100 wagon bzr headlights, edm trd grill, ae100 fx-gt bumper with projector fogs, jdm ae100 bumper signals, seibon ae100 carbon fiber hood, d2 pro-spec tarmac full adjustable coilovers (pro series, not the entry level rs series, sold on ebay, these were imported from australia)8kg front rate and 6kg rear rate, corner balanced, fully ride height adjustment, seperate preload adjustment and 30 way damping adjustable, pillow ball upper mounts in the rear, pillow ball upper mounts in the front with adjustable camber plates. Cusco jdm ae100 strut bar, short ram intake, 4agze radiator, new alternator, new started, new battery, smoked corners, 15x8 drag dr-10's (enkei rpf1 replicas, black w/ polished lip) wrapped in 205-50-15 falken azenis 615's, hawk ceramic pads up front, and oem shoes in the rear.
Car has been female owned and driven, and built and maintained by a 15 year toyota mechanic. Car currently has 206k miles on the chassis, and 122k miles on the used replacement engine. Car has been meticulously kept up mechanically with quality parts. very dependable, and economical, 34 mpg hwy, and 27 mpg city.. Interior is a 7/10 because i do have kids. The body is 6/10, some dings on the quarter panels, and a dent in the driver rocker panel, under the door, and some clearcoat chippage on the rear doors. The driver side back door, needs an interior and exterior handle, so it is non functional at the time.
im asking 2700 or better offer. please dont low ball me, theres just that in the suspension and hood alone, let alone the entire front conversion. open to trades, 4 door s10 blazer, non 4wd, prefferably early 90's box style, but prefer cash, hit me up 7zero6-6six9-6five78
so far its the first car in the states likeit, i havent found any other sprinter conversions stateside. this car has everything, just waiting for a 20v or 4agze swap(my next plan but i need something bigger) ill take pics with a real camera tomorrow andpost them here. thanks for looking.
