<------------------------- puts on flame retardent suit.
ok i know im probably gonna get some dogging on this , and pedro's gonna break out with the redneck jokes , and im sure NASCAR will be mentioned eventually........
most of you know my 7th gen is time attack bound. with it nearing completion in the engine bay i have to turn my attention to the grip aspect of the car. ive already installed the D2 prospec asphalt coilovers 8kg front and 5.5kg rear, found the factory front sway bar control arms and bar. ive already replaced my rear swaybar links with beefier models....ive got a slew of Ultra Racing parts admist the pacific ocean right now as i type bound to be here eventually. with the rear of the car being so light (light enough to pick up both rear wheels off the ground by hand, by the back bumper) i need a way to keep it planted while pulling a good 1G in the corners.
so a spoiler is in place.....no , no 3 foot tall carbon 3 level wing, its not rwd. no uselessbmw style lip spoiler either. MKIV supra arch spoiler.....negative ghostrider. so needed something functional , yet adjustable. so ive pondered , and pondered, researched , and researched........came up with this. its fully adjustable , i can level it out with the trunk lid , or i can put it strait up. its solid, its legal in the FIA rulebook, and best of all it only cost me about $30 for the stuff i didnt have laying around allready.........but , its not complete yet , im in the process of making some panels for the edge of the trunk for the ends of the spoiler to attach to.
