Well this is a quick DIY on painting body parts, this specifically is my spoiler and I'm painting it Matte Black is there is no clear coat going on it. First you want to sand it down with a 220 grit sand paper then you want to use a denaturalized alcohol to stock up b4 you decide to paint. Once it is dry you want to uniformly paint in one direction IE vertically, then on your second coat you want to shoot it horizontally or vice versa. in between coats you would want to wet sand it with 1500 or 2000 grit paper. MAKE SURE THE SANDPAPER AND THE PART IS WET THE WHOLE TIME otherwise you just destroyed your work. Finally after you added those 2 coats you add your clear coat in the same way and wet sand it again then boom your done good luck guys If you need any help/advice then feel free to shoot me a pm or email at Timothymetz89@gmail.com

yup! everything you paint on a car, ie body kit, spoiler, or the whole car has the exact same process

My old ugly 95's paint job is shot. It sat for a long time before I got it from a family member. It has a new transmission going in it right now, but when I get it back I have a fender to replace, then I'm going to do OD green on the hood, roof, and trunk, then do the sides and bumpers in truck bed liner.

This was a rattle can but I usually use a paint gun... I used the rattle can to show any paint job can be great when you have amazing prep... Its all in the prep work
