Good idea in my opinion ... But low boost if your not going to do anything to the block ... Some have even thrown a 4age head on it and keep the 4afe harness ... If you want a good amount of power then you will have to open the motor up and build it ... There is a few builds on here look them up

Yeahh i wouldnt wanna do like a crazy psi. Just keep it simple to where i dont have to constantly be replacing parts.

great idea, def makes the small engine more fun. make sure when you buy wastegate tho (if not already integrated to the turbo) that the spring is for equal or less than the boost you desire. i learned that the hard way. bought a 14psi spring, and i couldnt go lower only higher with mbc (manual boost controller). you might get slight blowby or crankcase pressure, so i recommend a oil catch can. block two ports on intake manifold that connect to the valve cover. lead the two valve cover outlets to the catch can and vta(vent to atmoshpere). idk if it was just me, but until i did that my dipstick would launch up and oil splurted everywhere when boosting. map sensor, check valves, or blox map bypass valve. whole lot more
