Hey guys, I thought it'd be helpful to post suspension set-ups and reviews here. It can be from anything to cut-springs to track coilovers and everything else in between. Just tell about your experience. Be informative! 1. Model: 2.Product Name & Cost: 3.Pros: 4.Cons: 5.Conclusion and recommendation: 6.Pics:
Here is what I have ** Model: Corolla '95 (7th gen) ** Product: Tein S-techs w/ KYB GR2s struts ** Pros: Very comfortable and gives an excellent drop, leaving virtually no wheel gap. 1.9 inch front, 1.4 inch rear. Unless you like taking corners like Speed Racer, there is no rubbing with these even when carrying 4 other passengers, full tank of gas, subwoofers, and spare tire in trunk. ** Cons: A bit soft around corners. May have to roll rear fenders a tiny bit. Mine were already rolled when I installed these so I can't say for sure. ** Recommendation: If looks and comfort is your priority then this set up is perfect. Performance wise, it's not bad but don't expect too much cornering performance with these. They felt perfect to me for my every day daily driving. ** Note: The Stechs and GR2s are only sold and listed for the 98-02 Corollas. The springs and stuts between 1993-2002 Corollas are interchangeable. ** Pics:Before:(I have no pics of my car on stock height so I'll just use this as reference from what I found on cardomain ) After:

Way better over stock 4.Cons:"Oh people need spines?? Let me fix that!!" Harsh ride should have spent the extra $300 for real coilovers..... They're from the BZ touring wagon I believe. Keep the reviews coming guys. This is actually a useful thread for everyone looking to lower their car and get it right the first time. Anyways, I ordered some KW coilovers. Will have a review for them sometime next week. Got a good feeling about these.

Model: 1995 Corolla. Product/Cost: Tein S-Techs with Koni Str.t Struts. Ran about $600 in total.
Pros: The Teins give an awesome drop. Low enough to not rub, yet low enough to give a very good luck. The Koni Str.t's are absolutely phenomenal. Even though the Corolla is very low, I'm no longer worrying about hitting bumps (I was running the stock struts with the Teins, I just got the Koni's put on).
Cons: They're not coilovers...haha, jk.
Conclusion/Recommendations: Definitely a winning combo if you want to do a bit of spirited driving every now and then with the comfort of a daily driver.
Pictures soon.
