So thought you sound guys would know a little about this for sound damping.
I have some plasti dip cans left over from my bike. Was looking at my trunk today and thought hmm plasti dip, would it work for sound? From what I have read they all say it does but I am looking to do the inside of the trunk.
The inside is all nasty and dirty, was going to sand/rattle can paint. But if I can throw some sound damping on it be nice.
Its a old 1981 te72 corolla so it rattles and bumps. Mainly why I thought of using plasti dip.
If no one really knows I might just go give it a shot since I am looking to do it soon.

what a trip i was thinking of the same thing the other day thinking of spraying plasti dip on the inside of the doors on my AE86 using it as a sound deadener. I't should work and lighter than the material the dealer uses. let us know how it works out.

I don't think it will do much for sound deadening, compared to the real products.
