Ok. So my ae101 is messin up. Brake lights are staying on while my head lights are on.. BrakeBrake lights work when head lights are off. And when i hit my brakes my dash lights pop in along with my front.maker ligjts? Its not my brake switch.. Unpluged it and brake lights still stay on.. Any ideas

Very strange it must be wiring something somewhere is touching it seems like and is causing it to malfunction I would check wiring diagram and see where they meet an take it from there ... I've never heard of such thing

I know me too. Its weird hit the brakes and my damn dash lights come on and my front running lights. Anyone have a diagram? And no its a 5 speed

Your bulbs are shorted out, one of them needs to be replaced. Here is a picture of the problem, over time, the contacts on the bottom flatten out and touch each other, so your brakes will light up with your parking lights and vice versa. One must be really old, though you can replace all of them to be sure.

It's worth a shot. Its the light switch. My rear tail light bulbs looked like thats.too with the contacts melted but all.i did was change my wiring harness for my lights. Also if you have trailer light harness get rid of it to.

Yeah if the bulbs don't fix the problem, it might be one of the sockets on the harness. One step at a time.
