Hello everyone! Those who are active on the CCC Facebook page may have seen my car before, I decided to join this forum because it's nice to see the car scene all over the world. So I'm sure you'll show me yours, and I'll show you mine, and yes, I'm still talking about Corollas. A little bit about me, I'm a 26 year old electrical engineer that works on high voltage equipment. When I'm not thinking of things to do with my Corolla, I'm either playing an electric guitar or derping around online. I got my drivers license only 3.5 years ago, my 2002 Corolla E12 is my first car and I'm not planning on getting rid of it, ever! My Corolla is a German import, the main difference between the German version and the Dutch version is traction control, and the ability to turn it off again. My Corolla was custom painted in July of last year, as I got fed up with the paint damage that it had collected over the years. Along with the custom paint, It has a TTE body kit, custom painted TTE wheels, and various other TTE bits. TTE (Toyota Team Europe) is the European version of TRD, so it's pretty much all original Toyota. Enough talk, time for some pictures! Yes, this is the same car!

Thanks! I'm working on a custom rear bumper at the moment, it's basically a modified Facelift model rear bumper to fit on my pre-facelift Corolla. I'm also working on a TTE-style grille, TTE no longer produces it so I'm going to have to settle with an aftermarket grille that comes very close in looks. That grille will be the first ever aftermarket part on my Corolla! Everything else is OEM/TTE After those changes the exterior will be done unless I think of even more things to do, and then I'll continue inside the Corolla. An audio upgrade is one of the plans for the interior, maybe some comfortable racing seats as well. First things first though, I'm rolling on 15" (stock size) alloys in wintermode right now, I've got to get back to my 17" TTE wheels as the weather is starting to warm up again, but they need new tires!

Time to update my thread, it's been a while. The TTE "style" grille is gone, I actually managed to find a genuine TTE grille, making it the 7th genuine TTE product on my Corolla. I also found a very rare Corolla KE30 grille badge, which I will use as a badge on the TTE grille. Of course, the grille will be painted, it will go to the painter along with the rear bumper, in July. A pretty big announcement that I can also make, is that my Corolla will be "bagged" in 3 weeks! Along with this airride update, I've decided to switch my 17" TTE wheels to 18" Rota P1 wheels. Here's a few pictures of the wheels, I'll make sure to update this thread again once the airride install is complete!

Tires arrived, planning on having tires on the wheels (and the wheels on my car) on tuesday. Here's a small update that I did to my interior today: I got fed up with the airbag warning sticker (which seems to be melted into the sun visor) so I bought a UK drivers side sun visor. This gives me two "drivers side" sun visors, meaning that annoying airbag warning is gone!

My 18" wheels are on! They slightly raised the car but as my airride is coming on june 20th I don't mind this temporary "SUV-mode" too much.

My Corolla got 'bagged' last weekend! Anyone interested in the build can read all about it on www.CorollaE12.com while I'll just focus on some pictures here. Slightly cheating: "Face down, booty up!" When both the front and rear are dropped, the front splitter doesn't touch the ground. In fact the Corolla rolls freely on the lowest setting, but with millimeters to spare. Close-up: I'm loving the look that the green brake calipers and nuts give the wheels.

Haha they've definitely been shared with the world already I'd like a CCC decal, but it would go under the hood with my Corolla Club NL and Corolla Club UK decals. I'm trying to keep the amount of decals on the outside low, I'm actually removing one from the front window today. Here's a video of the airride system in action.

A few weeks ago I placed a couple of messages on the CCC Facebook page, asking for the members to *like* a picture for me. The most liked image would get a reserved spot in the top 5 "Best of Tuning" at a Toyota-only car show. I won the Facebook vote, the other 4 competitors were chosen at the event itself. Once all 5 contestants for the Best of Tuning prize were selected, the public could vote for the car they liked more. This turned out to be my car! I won the first place in the Best of Tuning category at the event. It's a great feeling, knowing all the work that went into my car is appreciated by the public. Especially considering the fact that over half of the visitors on the event own vintage Toyotas.
