I'm assuming most of the people that are reading this thread know of the CustomCorolla already. That car is turning into a full on showcar and will be parked in a garage after this winter. This does mean that I need a daily driver. After looking for one for several weeks, I came across a Subaru Justy. an AWD Subaru that's on a Suzuki Swift shell. The "Suzubaru" will be the daily and not a project car like the CustomCorolla, but I will definitely put some work in, mostly cheap DIY work, to make the car a little nicer. I'll be spending a lot of time in it, after all. Here's some pictures of the car. I bought it today and I'm picking it up next week.

This is a 1997 car. It probably is the same model As this model (Suzuki Swift / Suzuki Cultus) was rebadged by several other car makers. Geo Metro, Pontiac Firefly, Chevrolet Sprint, Holden Barina, and Subaru Justy being just a few of those. Of course I wanted to go with a Subaru Justy, it's a rare car here (this country is full of the original Suzuki Swift models) and it's an AWD car which makes it just a little more fun to own.

I plan to tidy up the entire car, engine bay included. it definitely needs some work to get it back to what it looked like over 115.000 miles ago.
I might put a K&N airfilter in as well but I'm not sure yet. One thing I will be doing is "facelifting" the rear, replacing the SUBARU and JUSTY stickers with chromed badges.

Here's a bit of a sneak peak.. The Subaru is actually in for repairs right now and was almost completely done for. More about that later, all I can say now is that she'll definitely be back on the road soon!

This car is gone, didn't run right and would cost thousands to fix, so I got rid of it.
I bought a Corolla Sedan as a new daily, amazingly reliable and cool car as Sedans are a rare body style here. I'll create a new thread for the Sedan eventually, this thread can get locked or deleted as far as I'm concerned.
