i guess since the "what did you do today thread" got redone, i'll just post my pics of this weeks project on my own thread. ill edit specific details later, for now ill just post the pics i had already posted and go from there, good news finally got the right throwoutbearing i need for the 6spd.its off a 4afe/7afe.

found out it already had an act clutch kit, sooooo the place where i took the flywheel to get resurfaced, took both to him and suggested that it would be better to use the act and that he can rebuild it. (resurfaced flywheel=40$, rebuild act clutch kit=120$)->Clutchhouse in Sunrise, Fl

Part 2: got the flywheel back and the rebuilt Act Clutch Kit,also picked up some goodies

as far as axle shaft gaskets, only one side would fit(it was for a 4age tranny, so i still have no idea what the other side would use but its much bigger, mine is still fine so ill leave it where its at)

also messed with rear mount since it was destoryed, lucklily the one off my brown car is a so-so, so i used it and smothered the 3m window stuff on it







so i used the red locktite on the flywheel bolts, and a small damp on the clutch bolts, torqued the flywheel at 57lbs, and the pressue plate at about 32lbs.

yea its alot of work, especially when you dont have a lif to make life simpler, i piad 550 from my boy carlos at jdm of miami who has a store on ebay as well, he always imports them and sells them by partws.

4age 16v(smaller) compared to the 4afe which is the same as the 4age 20v

alright so the progress is that i got the tranny almost in but having an issue with the rear mount letting me fully press it in, plus one of the bolts is messed up, so tomorow will be cutting it off, and finished the tranny transfer, and just finish the details of installing the axles.also resprayed the calipers to make them look fresh again while i was at it

tranny is in, just having a hard time with the daimn rear mount, going to have to remove the whole bottome just to be able to fit it in.

well another morning working on the red car to waste just because of that stupid rear mount, i had to lower the control arm and the whole center subframe, got it all done, got the mount in, got the starter in, all bolts tightened, so im excited to just finished the last details manana in putting in the axels, tie rods back on, ball joint connected, and put new royal purple fluids in there.ive actually missed this car like crazy, didnt realize it till after a week and seeing all these stupid hondas driving around.

yea, im probably going to have to redue the valve cover now to add some purple to it.thanx bro,without a doubt, just wait till i start going crazy with the turbo build

chiko i feel your pain about the rear mount i went through the same thing, and yea the easiest way i found was to just loosen the crossmember bolts and let it drop a little bit

yea man, that supid rear mount cause me extra hours of work for the hell of it, i should have just had it already placed on the tranny when dropping it, but for those who are only doing the rear mount without removing the tranny, yea its some work taking that shit off.anyways guys, i feel like im already there, every difficult part was hard, now im just focusing on the small details and painting certain stuff.tomorow will be the day.
