Well problem is that the guy that I entrusted it with before left it in pieces so the estimate they gave me was approx. $2k-$2500(complete swap, tune, custom exhaust work). I'm thinking of also getting the head ported for an extra $500, but not sure how much that's gonna improve hp/tq and if it's really worth it

alright guys the date is set!!!! Thursday morning my 97 rolla will be sent to e-shift performance to get my 20v swap done.FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when i spoke with the guy we confirmed on complete swap with custom exhaust and custom intake for $2k. He said they will take the motor back out and polish every piece to give it a real stock look too. He said it should take him about 2-3 weeks so from now until then ill be biting my nails in anticipation. Keep you updated as im updated

sounds str8.i came up with a price of 1,200 for a 20v swap.buddies of mines down here that do the wiring said they'll normally charge 1,600+, so the price their giving you is pretty where it should be for a performance shop to do it, eventhough they've never done it.as far as polishing, yes you'll get some good gain, but on the intake chamber they shouldnt over due because its already pretty good, and if you polish it too much you won't have turbulence, mainly on the exhaust side you'll need that good ass polish.you going with blackto or silver? ey and as far as the bumper, i havnt had a chance to find a dhl around, i wonder if i can get a quote online instead of walking in with the bumper

Yea check online. That's how I did it and they picked up the stuff from my house. Also they're not polishing the intake and exhaust, at least not that I know of, I meant all the little parts on the motor and stock up the bay so it looks stock. I'm not too worried, the first time I talked with the guy he knew exactly what I was talking about and said they've done the swap yrs ago including the gze swap so I'm sure it'll be done right. Oh and it's the ST.

hahaha niice.everytime i see a new 20v project i get a tear in my eye, especially because its ccc proptery.and yo i didnt even know you have the same gold/brown color as mine, that jdm bumper is going to fit you car perfectly, and you dont even have to worry about sending it to the body shop to get the bumper painted.if i get a chance today ill look up if i can get a price on sending it over there to give you the exact amount
