be in a win situation and convert to manual trans, pointless to have a 20V installed on a autotragic trans. If it ain't broke, don't fix it

she cant drive a manual because of the pins in her ankle. her foot and ankle got crushed/ran over when she was 14 years old.

Mindbeats...I jus read your post....I think those were just stock USDM axles according to the small picture
While I was searching toyodiy.com. I cross referenced some axle numbers from a JDM 97 Corolla BZ Touring with a 4AGE 5-speed and looked up the CV axles. Thesae are the part numbers I came up with and they do cross over to a good USDM number....all though the number was superceded. I plan to hit the junk yard up thanksgiving weekend if they're open and investigate more.
Right-hand shaft #43470-19655 (new #43470-19659) from 98-99 Rav 4....which means this may be the actual shaft with the half shaft included.
Left-hand #43470-19715 (new #43470-29359) same as 7th gen Corolla....which most of us knew all ready...
Hope this is true. I will find out more soon

failed to check any rav4's for the axle thanksgiving weekend. But I did check all my local auto parts stores for the rav4 axle...no one kept it in stock for me to look at it. I will be ordering one on Monday. Worse case, I will return it if its not right

Tried to order the axle from Napa today as a matter of fact....and found out that the auto and manual tranny on the RAV4 are different axle part numbers....which means, i need to take the Toyota # I got from toyodiy.com and call Toyota to find out it if it applied to auto or manual applications...hopefully they can tell me that...If not, I'm ordering both tomorrow...No more messing around with this. I know how important to everyone it is to find this out...I'm on it

to order from a parts house you will need to request a 98-99 RAV4 with AUTO trans (even if you are running a M/T) and with or without ABS...depending. I will be ordering the part tomorrow, and will prolly will get it Friday or Monday. I will let y'all know the results
